Sports Bars Downtown Houston

I gave away my LSU vs Florida Tickets for this weekend and bought tickets to watch the Stros vs BoSox on Saturday. I plan on driving in Saturday morning and trying to catch the LSU game at a bar downtown near Minute Maid before heading to the baseball game. Any suggestions on places to go?
TIA

Catch the LSU game at Little Woodrows on Shepherd. Not downtown, but only a 5 min ride away.

If you want to just park your car and not get back into it until after the baseball game, there is a Little Woodrow's on Walker that's only a 5 min walk to Minute Maid. That's likely your best bet for a "sports bar" that's in walking distance to the stadium.
If you don't mind ubering or driving, the Little Woodrow's on Shep or The Hay Merchant are where I'd go; Little Woodrow's on Shep for atmosphere & The Hay Merchant for much better food / booze.

Just hit up St Arnold's beer garden. Big projector looking right at downtown skyline

I thought about that, but both UT and TAMU play in the 11:00 slot as well. Would rocket to the top of the list if the LSU game were on

Absolutely
Pitch 25 is a soccer bar but they have shite ton of tv’s. It actually pretty cool. Never been there for college football but I am positive theyll have the LSU game on.
Woodrows on Shepard has always been pretty meh to me. Plus it’s going to be really nice out so drinking in a room sounds shitty
Kirby ice house is always good for CFB and good talent running around.

Car / uber opens things up dramatically. There's some cool stuff in downtown / EaDo, but nothing I would want to do as a sports bar.

Especially at 11am.
Honestly it’s going to be so nice out, you’ll want to go to a patio.
West Alabama ice house will put the game on if you ask. Post up and grab some tacos. I wish I still lived across the street

Buffalo Bayou’s rooftop, West Alabama, and St Arnold’s would be on my list with the weather
Woodrows on Shepherd is going to be meh. I was there for Auburn game and crowd was already lacking. Can’t imagine it’ll be much better with start time and result of UK game.

Is this still open? It's shutting down soon I think, if it hasn't already.

Still open the last time I passed. The only thing they said was closed at the end of 2021.
