Steak for meal prep suggestions

Started making some meal prep burritos to freeze. I bought a bag of precooked and seasoned steak for $15 and it made 4 decent size burritos. The bag of chicken was $9.
Excuse my ignorance because I’m no expert in meat or grilling. I’d like to grill some steak (and chicken) to make better burritos but also save a few bucks.
What’s the best steak option (if any) that would be a better price and tastier than what I got last week?
ETA: phone was going crazy and reposted multiple times lol

Really kind of need to know what you got last week, unfortunately. There's 90 different kinds of pre-cooked and seasoned bagged steak out there.

I can usually find sirloin for cheap. It’s pretty versatile.

For health and cost, I’d go with sirloin for steak and 93/7 ground beef for your cow related needs

Boneless skinless chicken thighs and sirloin steak like others have mentioned. For burritos, experiment with some marinades for each that contain lemon, lime, or pineapple juice. The acids will help tenderize the meats. You can also pound those meats out in between some plastic or a ziplock bag to make them even in thickness so they will cook evenly. Good luck.

I never followed up on this older thread but I did this with top round for philly cheese steak meat, but it would work great for burritos too. It worked well and was very tender and tasty. And it's a very cheap cut of meat.

I seared off a chuck eye earlier for a couple days’ worth of lunches this week.
Look for cheaper cuts…skirt, flank, Denver, teres major, bavette, sirloin, hell even tri-tip can be had for cheap.
The cheaper cuts have better flavor but can be tough if not handled correctly…best thing you can do is learn to recognize how the grain of the meat runs, then cut against it.
I’d rather a properly cooked, rested skirt/flank/bavette that was carved correctly to just about any other cut when it comes to flavor and value.
