LA Times Article

quote:

According to a new study from the University of Michigan, cheese crack is a real thing. And so is your addiction.

quote:

The study found certain foods are addictive because of the way they are processed. The more processed and fatty the food, the more it was associated with addictive eating behaviors.

quote:

Cheese happens to be especially addictive because of an ingredient called casein, a protein found in all milk products.

I feel rehab coming on

Crack is why more addictive than cheese. I've never had the dope scratches from cheese.

I think that cheap government cheese that is cut with oil will give you the itches.

You're probably on that fancy shite.

Vegetarians don't eat meat. Vegans don't eat animal products.

I believe you meant vegan

I went vegetarian for about six months and found it pretty easy.

Being vegan without cheese would be really tough.

If you don't like cheese, then you aren't eating the right cheese.

This is nothing more than the University of Michigan hating on Wisconsin and their cheese, glorious cheese.

My addiction started out innocently enough with a little extra cheese on by burgers and tacos. Pretty soon I was eating blue cheese and even dabbled with some limburger. After losing everything, I was living on the street, mainlining canned easy cheese and snorting cheese powder out of packs of mac and cheese.

Here's a little more reading if anyone on here is a food nerd like myself....
