I have always used Louisiana. However I was in a pinch and had to pick up some of this Swamp Dust stuff instead. They call for the sprinkle in ice chest method on the package. I'm assuming some of you have used this stuff in typical boil fashion though. Looking for feedback on its spicyness so I can adjust dosage per sack.

Thanks

I like it. I would have no issue using it if Louisiana wasn't available. I have a friend who uses it for his B-day boil every year. No dusting, of course. Cooks them the right way, and I enjoy them.

Probably not quite as much cayenne in it. It takes several batches to get really spicy, IMO.

Someone gave me a bag out of crawfish season, so I've used it to boil shrimp. My wife and I like it.

It's what we used to use before we had our own seasoning made.
