Where in the hell can I find a good bun at a store in BR? Like Masons/Mugshots or something similar.
Thoughts?

I've been on the same quest myself. I know Mason's gets theirs from Texas, but you can buy them from Mason's.

That was going to be my next approach. I just think somebody other than Sysco is providing restaurants with buns.

Sysco carries Mason's buns. Anyone who orders from Sysco can buy them, but smallest qty is 96

Most area stores sell these.

We recently used those King's Hawaiian Sweet buns for hamburgers and they were pretty good. You find them in stores next to the deli section usually.

Best 2 buns in BR:
Masons / Mugshots, etc = Sysco from texas
Another good bun: Hamburget buns fresh from Ambrosia. Good stuff.

It's a hidden Gem in Baton Rouge. Baked fresh daily. You can order them in bulk for .30 each, and cut or uncut.

I belive the brand os Hawaiian or something like that. They have always made the sweet little rolls for oarty sandwiches. They now make a 4 pack of buns that taste the same and are outstanding. Most grocers should carry them.

Try any bakery that sells brioche. Brioche is what you are looking for in bun form.
