At that price? Dobra? Homemade?
I can't remember a few decades back to buying anything I liked for less than around $20+.

I am no Vodka snob, but I have never had any thing good for less than $15.
You might as well buy beer.

At Albertson's right now, they have a $9.99 special on Six vodka. Pretty good stuff, especially at that price.

THe absolute best vodka out there for the price is Sobieski. It rates higher than Grey Goose and it's a 1/2 gallon for $17.99 at Rouse's.

Luksusowa....$23.00 for half gal.
this is true Polish potato vodka at a great price...very smooth and hangover free.
I get it at Albertsons.

Got some of this over in Austin....fantastic stuff, and only about $20 a bottle....I'll put it right there with just about anything....

Svedka is not bad. I think it is around $10 but then I spend a couple more bucks and get the Tito's.

That is my favorite. When I first heard about and started drinking it, it was $15 a bottle. It is close to $20 now.

this sounds like the best deal. not having a hang over is worth whatever extra there is.
let me ask you this...I'm a rookie with this it may be a dumb question but how many fifths are in a half gallon?
Posted on 7/6/09 at 10:03 pm to RGCjr01
a 'fifth' = 750 ml
half gallon = 1.75 liters
so 2.3 fifths = a handle if that helps

Found this at the discount tabacco and liquor store on Florida near donmoor...but only in fifths....price was a little higher than the luksusowa...but also very smooth....I prefer the luksusowa....and albertsons has more locations.

Bought a handle of McCormick vodka when I was in college. It came in a plastic bottle and was like $10. shite was so bad you couldn't even drink anything mixed with it. Don't be cheap with hard liquor. At least cheap beer is still drinkable.
