2nd Review........
I had no intention of visiting this place so soon, but we ended up going there after the Saints game Friday night.
We went to Walk-Ons, but the wait was 30+ minutes, so we called Hebert's and they said they were open till midnight, so we drove out there.
I'm not going to do a long drawn-out review, and I will admit I went with low expectations.
1) Service- very good. Our waitress (Brooke) was very friendly, kept the drinks filled, answered menu questions, etc.
2) Food- Got the "Beaux Burger" with "Hebert Fries". Burger was average, but I actually liked the fries- they had a crawfish and mushroom creme sauce. Would not get a burger again- maybe a catfish fillet with the crawfish and mushroom creme sauce on top would be better.
3) Atmosphere- typical sports bar/restaurant theme- lots of tv's (which I like), tables, chaos, etc. Still had a decent amount of people there drinking at 11:20 when we got there- lot of people asking us if we had come from the game.
4) Value- not cheap, not expensive. About right, I guess.
OVERALL: Would probably go again, if a friend wanted to. Probably not again if I was deciding. But wouldn't say no if someone else wanted to go there. I would recommend try it if it's a place you think you would like, and definitely NOT recommend it if it's not your type of environment.
