Headed there in the morning to visit a client and wondering is anyone can recommended a few good restaurants in the area. Looking for local places - casual or better, but not fine dining. Preferably with a bar 'cause flying solo.
THANKS!!
THANKS!!

1- Fieldings
2- The Refuge
3- Texas Beer Garden
4- Crush
In that order
FIELDINGS - super fricking burger bar with a nice selection of craft beers on tap. cool arse atmosphere... get some truffle oil and parm fries to go with your burger.
The Refuge - chill arse place to grab a small plate or 2 and a great selection of craft beer, wines and spirits. cheese plate, pot pie and beef wellington are all good but the beer selection is the big winner here
Texas Beer Garden - get the smoked chicken wings....im not a big fan of anything else here BESIDES the beer....probably the best beer selection in all of north houston
Crush - little more fancy of a joint. probably not where you are going to go if your flying solo but if you are a big wine guy...not a bad place to hang and chill while getting your wine on

If you ever find yourself in a fine dining situation in TW...check out Americas on Water Way Ave
fricking foie gras tamales are the dog shite! And the lamb lolly pops are the cats tits!

I guess now i know what i should have gotten. The shiner sausage was pretty good, but the brisket was underwhelming and their service was slow despite the reataurant being nearly empty when i went.

I was just coming to recommended the Americas
Had a company team meeting in the woodlands a few months back and we did dinner there. Everything was top notch from atmosphere to food to drinks.
Perfect for business meal or just a cool place to have some food and a drink. Great bar and location
Highly recommend
