Every sandwich I've ever had from there is dry in at least one way.

Reuben the Great is my favorite menu item.

Like it just fine but it’s no Schlotsky’s.

I go for the Manager's Special with 1/4 turkey muffuletta and a cup of either seafood gumbo, chili, or fire-roasted tortilla soup.

The Siegen lane location has been infested with roaches for years. Not a roach got in... they have to have a massive breeding population.

People will get pissy about this but Jason's Deli has a solid Muff for a large chain. My order is quarter muff, cup of brocolli and cheese soup. Their chips are not bad either.

Agreed and that's exactly what I order as well

I'd like to know how they source those giants.

They’re comically large Pro move I’m told is to order a cup of the chili and pour that all over the loaded potato.

On a healthier note, my go-to is the Amy’s Turkey-O. The stone ground mustard + pepper cheese makes it really good, and it’s lower in calories than most fast casual food.

They cut the stub off of two and jam the cut ends together, making one large one.

My favorite is the Podnuh. I don't know if it's on the menu anymore, but it's brisket, sour cream and cheese.

Half reuben with extra dressing, cup of chili, all the cornbread muffins I can eat . Pour some of the chocolate syrup into the bottom of the cone before pouring the ice cream to finish off the meal. Then sleep the rest of the afternoon.

Is the place incredible? No. Is it what it needs to be and fairly priced for the most part, yep.

but it's hard to find a really good Reuben.

Go to Martins Wine Cellar off Perkins. Best club sandwich in town too.

Jason’s has gotten expensive recently. I guess like everything else but if I’m spending $66 for four sandwiches and drinks (my last time there), I’ll go elsewhere.

The bbq beef one with double meat and also the pollo Mexicano (chicken) used to be my go’s there but way too many calories for current dietary goals .

I'm not certain anyone in this thread is under the impression they are cooking in Jason's Deli.

1st time just a month ago.
We were looking for a casual late morning lunch place for a group of 7 and I had not realized that McCallisters had kicked the bucket. We tried Jason's. None of the women were salad bar/buffet types and they loved it. I can't remember the 1/2 sandwich ordered but no complaints from whoever ate it, A side protein (grilled chicken) for a salad that was enough for 2. The kids & grandma split one of those ginormous baked potatoes. 5 adults and 2 kids were $89 with fountain drinks. I believe kids eat free on Saturday nights too.

BTW, I found some potatoes as large at Zuppardos a few weeks later.
