top 5 reasons krispy krunchy is better than popeyes

5. It’s cheaper
4. No line around the building to buy it
3. No attitude or hostility from the person you buy it from
2. You don’t immediately regret eating it no matter how good it tastes
1. It is straight up better fried chicken...better chicken, better crust, better seasoning
my krispy krunchy experience is based on the GOAT location at the Livingston exit truck stop. Also home to the coldest beer cooler in the Florida parishes

1 is false, 2 is breakeven either way IMO, and there’s a reason for 4 & 5. I’m stumped on defending 3.

I wouldn't say it's better than Popeyes but it's darn good.
The Popeyes here have drive thru lines that spill out onto the street and it takes about a half hour to get to where you order. I really have to be in the mood to get Popeyes.
They rarely mess up the order though and it's good but I probably get krispy krunchy at least once a week. I've never had their sides though. But the chicken is always good. It's not Popeyes but it's really close.

Krispy Krunchy is great but you’re not really comparing apples to apples. If you want to compare the flavor of the chicken that’s fine. But Popeyes is an actual restaurant. KK is a product. It’s a recipe sold mainly to gas stations. You’re not dealing with Krispy Krunchy employees, you’re dealing with gas station folk. It’s like comparing Hunt Bros to Pizza Hut or Dominos.

all true but...so what?
you go to Popeyes to get chicken not soak up the ambiance. The deliverable (fried chicken) is the same at both, and for the reasons I listed krispy krunchy is the better chicken
popeyes does not in any way “suck” as the guy posted above. I like it just like everyone else does. But KK is better

There is a Popeyes near my house that I used to go to occasionally. I stopped going there because of the hatred and hostility I sensed from the workers there. I became concerned that they could be messing with my food.
