Curious what are the F&D boards best selections for fine dining?

My personal favorites are Sullivan's, Little Village (the downtown location), & French Market Bistro.

Closest things to fine dining that I know of and have actually gotten to eat at would be Cocha, Manseurs, Roberto’s, and Louisiana Lagniappe.

Maison Lacour
Cocha
Latil's Landing (not in BR though)

Something something movers and shakers.

Roberto’s is fine dining?
I’d say:
Mansuers
Ruth’s
Sullivan’s
Flemings? (I’ve never been)
Lagniappe is a notch below fine dining, kind of like Ruffinos. I consider fine dining some place I’d feel totally out of place in jeans and a polo.

I haven’t heard anything about this place since the opening thread. How is it doing? Staying busy or has the newness worn off?

I’m sure it’s closed by now. Everyone on TD said it wouldn’t last past a few weeks, no?

Depends how you define fine dining. Most of Baton Rouge's best restaurants don't really enforce, or even encourage, any kind of dress code or level of formality. With that said, these are the restaurants that come to mind that I would feel come closest to fitting that bill, in no particular order:
Mansurs
Cocha
Maison Lacour
Kalurah
Tsunami downtown
With Beausoleil as an honorable mention, and maybe now-renovated Juban's?

Depends, are you a mover and or shaker?

I don't think there is a place in BR that baws wouldn't show up in jeans and a polo.

Their nice jeans, obviously...
The flip side is also true. I've been in some fricking holes in the wall with a suit on
