Top Vietnamese restaurants in New Orleans

New Orleans has a rich Vietnamese history and heritage. A visit to New Orleans East and the Versailles neighborhood clearly evidence that.
That said, New Orleans and its metro area have many great Vietnamese restaurants. What are your favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the New Orleans and the surrounding metro area?

I like Pho Bang on Chef Menteur in the East most.

tagging this to revisit. ive been finding the pho in NO is cinnamon heavy. Pho michael in particular. We drove by it one time and my wife commented if there was a bakery near by.
pho nola is on my list right now, it was recommended by a few folks.

I was going to mention Pho Ga in Marrero, but saw that it is permanently closed.
Pho Orchid next to Clearview in Metairie is my go-to when I come into town. Pho Tau Bay was solid when it was in Gretna. They have moved next to Tulane Medical Center years ago, but I haven’t been at that location.

Lilly's on Magazine was where we went most often, but the lemon grass chicken wings at Tan Dinh were my favorite dish at a Vietnamese restaurant in the area.

I usually get my spicy lemongrass wings from Ba Chi Canteen, but I may have to give Tan Dinh a try.

Never been to that one. It all depends on the family who runs each…they are all consistent, but I don’t think they do anything else. Father, mom, and daughter in the East, I’ve never been when they all three weren’t there.

I’m pretty sure Ba Chi and tan dinh are the same people. Lately pho tau bay has been my go to.
