I made a batch of home made Canes sauce yesterday (with Olive oil mayo so it is at least healthier than the regular Canes sauce). So today I had a lazy day at home and ended up dipping Rotisseri chicken, grilled cheese, and Sun chips in the sauce...all were delicious. What else besides Pizza will taste great with Canes sauce?

I eyeball everything, no measurements. Half mayo, half ketchup. A few squirts of Lee & Perrins, a couple shakes of garlic powder and black pepper. Let sit overnight

My old roommate ate canes about twice a week. I took some real Canes sauce and some of my sauce side by side and had him try to pick which was which. He said they taste exactly the same.

I dont know when that let it sit overnight shite started. we never did this. we would make it and pour it straight into the pump bucket.

I just do it so everything gels together. It tastes slightly different than right after it is made. Not much difference but some. It also becomes thicker which I like

i put some hot sauce in, as well as some sort of creole seasoning. i don't mimic canes' however, i make a better sauce.
