Hooters is now buying the wings from the cornish hens that Canes uses for chicken "fingers".

Hooters isn't raising the chickens. Their wings are still bigger than any of the other restaurants around. I still prefer the old school blue cheese dressing and I think the sauce for the "hot" wings has changed but it's not a dealbreaker or anything.

Daytona Beach is still my favorite sauce out there.

What do you think has changed with their hot sauce? I find the medium and mild don’t taste the same as they used to.

I hadn't gotten the mild or medium wings in years (always get Daytona), so I got the traditional battered wings in buffalo a while back for nostalgia. I was sad to realize the tips are gone (IDK why I thought maybe they still used wings with tips for the battered ones) and the sauce was different tasting.

I don't even know how it was different tasting, but it was not what I remember.

Interesting. They were so good back in the day. Mild maybe not as good as their medium but I enjoyed both.

Their 911 sauce or maybe it was the 3 mile island sauce I think it was called back then was the hottest one they offered if I recall correctly.

We opted out of that buy I haven't heard it was doing that well. They don't meddle with us and Florida because we out perform them so they are happy to not share

Does anyone? Can't say I've ever seen it happen.

If they are crispy, mine end up looking like they have baked in the sun on top of an ant pile for a few days when I'm through nibbling.

Back in the day they were huge . It was almost the entire wing .

I do not remember Hooter wings ever being the entire wing. It was either the drumette or two bone section.

Granted, I haven’t been to Hooter’s since probably 2002
