Funny you mention this.
When we were set up waiting for the Mardi Gras parade to come by in Feb., we walked down to this little gas station to see if they had any plastic cups because we had some bottles and didn't want any hassle.
They had 2 Slush Puppie machines in there. Working and everything. I hadn't seen one of those in....., has to have been at least 20 years.

There's a place on St. Charles in New Orleans that has them, also a store on the corner of Harrell's Ferry & O'Neal in BR that has them.

Remember the brain freezes you would get from them. Those were the best. Only thing that comes close is the homemade Dixie cups.

AM Mart has a machine as well as the truck stop with the Huddle House attached to it in La Place.
I tried to drink one a while back and it was WAY too sweet. I have no idea how I drank them as a kid.

I remember going to the skating rink as a kid and ordering a "suicide" slush puppy (all the flavors mixed together)

There is a gas station in long beach, ms with a slush puppy machine. My husband made the mistake of introducing my 4 year old to them. I think I got a cavity just looking at it.

you gotta have the old school machine where the ice was plain and you had to add the flavor after it was in your cup

Longview playground in Paulina has three machines. I get one every time my kids play baseball there

The ballpark where I played Dixie Youth baseball has them. On a side note I had a Dr. Pepper ICEE last week and it was fantastic.
