Depends. If you want the traditional American Chinese stuff, probably China Doll?
For actual Chinese food that Chinese people eat, I’d like to hear this too

The Wank is famous for having some of the best Vietnamese joints around. Anything special you are wanting in a Chinese place?

China Doll.
Empress of China is good too.

Hong Minh in Harvey
Get the whole roasted duck
It's a little off beat, and doesn't feel or look like a traditional American-Chinese restaurant, but the food is good.

This is the answer for actual Chinese food.
I still have a soft spot for China Doll in the "Chinese American" category, but they've been slipping a lot.
Also, the big Chinese place next to the Hong Kong Mart used to do the dim sum in carts on the weekends. I haven't been or checked it out in several years, so not sure if they are still doing that, but they were legit in that regard.

Odd that you write this - even adding italics to emphasize "actual' - for a restaurant with a name that is transparently Vietnamese.

Odder still, the owner I believe is actually Cantonese but apparently immigrated here from Vietnam with the wave of folks who came here in the 70s. The food is rather unique, but is much different than the Vietnamese spots.
It's an interesting place.

My girlfriend lives around the corner from this place, Ive driven by it a million times and always wondered if it was legit.
Guess I’ll have to give it a try now.
