So I’m looking at Loco but also Crawfish Feast seems to pop up a lot. Any opinions?

Hit up Halk Marine if you are around Covington. The owner posted some pics of his work on here before and it’s impressive.

You can't eat style points. A 100qt aluminum pot and a jet burner with a 30psi regulator makes crawfish just fine. Buy a gun with the rest of the money.

A good cooker can lead to an easier to accomplish, safer and consistent output. Being able to add crawfish to the cooker and bring it back up to a boil within about 1 minute, every time, no matter how much crawfish I put in (within its up to 3 sack capacity), lets me cook my crawfish the same way every time, with no meaningful variation in the amount of time that the crawfish cook while waiting for the water to come back up to a boil. One sack or three, I get the same great crawfish every time. It's easy to dump and refill, has no tipping concern and is easy to clean. It also uses less propane.
You can still get good crawfish out of a pot, but there are good reasons to get a good quality, custom made cooker.

All I can offer is that I saw the 100qt LOCO Twist N Steam pot at Academy last weekend and it looks very well made. I checked out their cart-style cookers online and they seem to be well made as well. Thickness of the basket seems to be twice the thickness of the King Cookers and overall seems much better built. They're also about $200 more than the comparable sized King Cookers.

I think he’s leaning towards wanting a Loco

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your 3 sack cooker? I've been researching a good bit and have seen a lot of 2 sack cookers and the results for custom ones are in TX. I've got a semi-commercial setting that I basically want the results you described in your post

I welded it out of Aluminum plate and tube.

I bought the one from Venable Fabricators about 4 years ago and love it, one of the best made. My problem with traditional big pots is the lifting out the basket, weight and height, when you cook 1.5 or 2 sacks of crawfish at a time.
Now I can remove all the crawfish from the pot to an ice chest by myself.
They only make a handful each year. When I bought mine there was a waiting list for them, I think it took about a year to get mine once I got on the list.

$4200 for a boiling rig? That's insane. No way it's that much better than one that costs $1200.
