I have a close friend who’s favorite beer is Bud Ice. shite is nasty. Why did the 90’s have such bad beer?

I agree. Icehouse was somewhat decent from what I can recall. But yeah, lots of junk out there during this era.

this was my favorite but disappeared in mid 80's after A Busch quit brewing it, never made it to the 90's

Miller Lite.
Killian's Red was popular and I drank prodigious amounts of it in the 90s on Draft.
I was a fan of Michelob Dry when it came out. I may try and run some Michelob down over the holidays.

There was a lot of bud ice light consumed in the mid 90s. Of course we were in high school and almost anything was an upgrade from Milwaukee’s best.
