Where can I find some good hummus? (grocery store not restaurant) (nola area)

Looking to buy some Hummus today

Just the regular type will do. Doesn't have to be one of those sabra ones with peppers or pesto or lucky charms or whatever.

I would imagine you can get some decent hummus at Byblos.

Rouse's on Tchoup has some good hummus at their olive bar. I prefer the roasted garlic one.

Nur's Kitchen from Covington sells their hummus in Whole Foods. More expensive but the quality is amazing.

1 food processor
1 can chick peas with liquid
3 cloves garlic
4 srpigs flat leaf parsley
1 t salt
1/2 t red pepper
1/3 cup tahini
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/3 cup EVOO

Put all except the EVOO in the processor and blend until smooth...add the evoo in the last 30 seconds. Adjust seasonings to taste.

And if you really want to blow your mind, add Badia Complete Seasoning and some cayenne.
