Tonys hotdogs for breakfast and especially lunch. Tonys is actually in Pelham but worth the drive.
Also First Watch in Vestavia Hills is great for breakfast/brucnch.

Hwy 150 and Lorna Rd constitute the best ethnic dining in all of Birmingham, IMO.
Tortugas Pizza for the best deep dish outside of Chicago.
Jake's Soul Food Cafe. Get the ox tails if they aren't sold out.
Silver Coin is the best Indian food in town.
Blue Pacific is fresh Thai food.
Pollo Lucas has amazing chicken (I think it's Peruvian?)
Brock's Gap Brewery has a cool venue close to the stadium. No food, but there will be food trucks.
Farrelly's Southern Bar for brunch.
Mr. P's if you wanna get off the beaten path for a sandwich.
Tony's Hot Dogs. Get the burger.
Archie's BBQ. Pulled pork or the burger.
Vecchia Pizza at the Preserve.
Hoover is missing that locally owned fine dining place unless someone knows of one that I don't.
