Which is better? Tony Chachere’s or Slap Ya Momma?

Tony’s used to be the king, but Slap Ya Momma has overtaken them in my opinion. I prefer the higher percentage of black pepper in the Slap Ya Momma.

I still always by Tony’s out of habit. But the few times I’ve had SYM it tasted better to me tbh

I prefer Targil’s Stuff-A-Roast over either of them.

Slap is better, but my go-to is Nunu’s seasoning

I find SYM has too much salt so I stick with Tony's Chachere’s More Spice if I am going to use a prefab spice mix.

SYM. But lately been using Louisiana brand Cajun seasoning. It’s cheaper and I like the amount of garlic and red pepper in it.

It seems like the opposite to me. We use SYM white pepper seasoning more than anything, if we are using a mix.

Uncle Larry’s is better than both

Targil’s fry seasoning and season all is awesome

Anybody have a suggestion on a low or no salt cajun seasoning?

Yeh because we've all heard of that one or is it your actual Uncle Larry's proprietary blend of herbs and spices? Stay on topic.
ETA I'm a SYM guy.

I use Tonys when cooking for the family.
But the hot Slap Ya Mama is awesome!

Benoit's has no salt and is very good on chicken IMO. For beef, I need more salt

This. Tony's typically has more salt compared to others. The reason is it's alot cheaper to make that way

Tony's also makes a no salt version.

I used Tony's for ages, but then tried SYM one day and haven't looked back.
I find the blend of seasonings better to my liking. I still have Tony's in the pantry, but only use it when SYM is out.
