Lately I have been using classic or red pepper hummus to take the place of lite mayo. It gives it a whole new delicious flavor and is much healthier. What do yall typically put on a ham sandwich?

Mayo, mustard, ham, cheese, pickles and white bread is my idea of a good ham sandwich.

I will use whatever I have handy.
Since you asked, my preference is Mayo, Whole grain bread (toasted), lettuce, tomato, medium cheddar cheese and lots of ham,if the ham is cold, that's ok, but if it wouldn't bo too much trouble I'd prefer heated until the cheese melts.
Kettle chips and a cold beer would be nice, since you asked.

Not really a condiment per se, but brie or blue cheese.

Do you not like ham? Or you don't like sandwiches? or just the combination. This is truly baffling me

That's exactly how I build my sandwiches. Ham or turkey- same sandwich.

rye bread, smoke cured ham, dijon, baby swiss, sprouts, sliced pickles, sliced roma tomatoes, heated and pressed. No Mayo, the Hummus would work for me.
