Have any of you had any issues finding Lea and Perrins in your area in the last couple of weeks? It's bizarre. We're completely out (even off-brand) in my area (Louisville). Just curious if anyone else is dealing with a similar issue.

Even Heinz? That's what I use. Same thing; half the price.
ETA: I don't buy it often enough to have noticed. A bottle lasts a long time!

Yep. The only one I could find was a local Bourbon Barrel brand. Even the generic arse Kroger brand was gone.

I've had issues finding Lea & Perrins ever since people started hoarding toilet paper.
Sometimes the Kroger brand is out as well.
If I see the good shite, I'm buying it even if I don't need it yet.

That explains it.
More sauce = more poo.
This had nothing to do with Corona afterall!

On a serious note, maybe hoarding the Lea and Perrins isn't a terrible idea. It doesn't go bad (the date doesn't matter).

I haven’t noticed a shortage - but I have two of the big bottles anyway - well one and a half

The only reason I'm buying a new bottle is because we moved and tossed a bunch of stuff from the fridge instead of moving it.

Haven't noticed a shortage. I buy Cajun Power brand. I also have a pound of Worcestershire powder for making rubs and other seasoning blends, so I will reconstitute that if I ever run out.

I've never put it in the fridge. I have two full bottles, but I'll buy another just in case this is like the Old Charter shortage.

My Kroger in Northssippi has both Kroger and Lea & Perrins Worcestershire in stock. Must be a KY or local thing.

I remember the shelves being pretty bare the last time I bought it in the grocery store. I ended up ordering a gallon jug of it a while back.

I have thought about this a lot since I read it. I wish I could downvote again.

I make my own. I use the recipe from the Commander's Palace cookbook.
