Thanks for the link.

Sorry, I was lazy and didn't search.

Oh and you think Singha Thai really is that much better than Singha Song?

Singha Song is terrible. Their Tom Yum soup was practically inedible.

Good to know. I've only ever gone to Singha Thai.

Sorry, joe, I'm the wrong person to try to answer your question. I haven't had much viet food. All I know is that I'm on a huge Thai kick right now. Green curry is my favorite thing and I can't get enough. I've never had anything at a Thai restaurant that I don't like. I do think Thai is lighter and has more bright flavors than (American) Chinese though.

I would say without question, Thai food is the spiciest. Most Thai restaurants in America really tone down the heat a lot and they're still spicier than the other cuisines you mentioned.

I will give my vote to La Thai simply because of their hot and sour soup. it is wonderful

Only reason I'd go to La Thai is for the staff (sorry Wink). Other than that it's just simply too overpriced for Thai food that's not anything special.

I'll give it a try next time. I've only been twice and wasn't really impressed either time.

Merlin, the chef and co-owner, is friends with my husband so we get a hook-up, but it can be pricey if you're paying full price. I do agree about the staff though. Some good looking young men there.

I was waiting for the punchline.

Although not entirely authentic, I like La Thai.

I probably should have just asked who has the best green curry. You ever had it there?
