Zaxby's Salads. Are they really that good?

Every time I talk to anyone about Zaxby's, their salads seem to be their saving grace. People that have actually tried them, are they really that good? And by that I mean would you yourself go out of your way to get one if you were craving a salad? TIA

Not really, but you can't help compare Zaxby's to Cane's, and even though Zaxby's is a notch or two below Cane's, the salads seem to be the alternative that Cane's doesn't offer.

They're not bad. I think chik-fil-a's are better. Hell, Wendy's has some good salads too.

I like their Grilled Chicken Caesar salad. Not bad for a QSR place.
Their fried chicken fingers, on the other hand, suck.

I like their Zensation Zalad, but they offer it only for limited periods - not currently being offered.

The ones I've had in B'ham are pretty meh. I guess for fast food it's ok.

They are as bad or worse for you than the chicken finger plate so just get the chicken finger plate. It's widely known their zalads are a caloric explosion

I got a Zaxby's black and blue salad the other day when my grandma asked me to pick her up Zaxby's
I thought everything about it was terrible compared to Newk's. Granted Newk's black and blue is made with steak. So comparing everything besides the protein, Zaxby's sucked. Plus the chicken wasn't great. I don't get the love

Not if you get grilled chicken.

The nutrition info includes the calorie and carb count of things that could easily be removed from the salads. Don't eat the Texas toast or the fried onions and the calorie and carb counts look reasonable (for the grilled options).
