Getting ready to scratch the itch

SoD was actually pretty fun. I just can't do WoW anymore after 18 years of playing it.

WoW SoD is a fun twist on the game, if you are just starting out I would suggest checking out the following.
Lookup the sleeping bag quest, it is a long questline to get an item that offers 3% xp.
In any of the major cities you can buy runes from the rune vendor, purchase all of them for your class and configure them as you see fit. They are kind of like enchants except they don't give stats but either active or passive abilities. It is quite powerful and makes levelling a blast.
The xp is cranked up so you can level up fairly quickly, at least in comparison to classic.
Have fun.

After a few years in a guild I started to threebox, tried to go back but that it's has been scratched. I still get the urge to play EQ again though.

I've been playing the 20th anniversary version of WoW on Dreamscythe. It's been fun, but just got two characters to level 60 and don't know if I want to put in the effort for end game content. I haven't decided what to do yet.
