Arcade Paradise game

This game came to Game Pass recently (or it's been there and I just noticed it today).
REALLY fun game. The premise is that the main character is put in charge of a laundromat, but wants to turn it into an arcade instead. You have to juggle responsibilities as manager of the laundromat while also trying to build an arcade in the back room at the same time. The arcade cabinets are all fully playable, but time doesn't stop while you're playing so you have to put the games down so you can attend to the laundromats needs. Most of the cabinets are pretty quick plays though so it isn't a big deal really.
Some of the arcade cabinets are knock-offs of pretty famous arcade games like a Pac-Man clone that trades the ghosts for police cars and pacman for a getaway car. Another is an air hockey game. As you progress you can add more arcade cabinets and expand the laundromat to provide more room for arcade cabinets.
I picked it up today because I thought it would have a quick easy achievement to pop for the daily game pass quest, and it did that for sure, but then I got hooked. This game is pretty addictive and fun to play. If you have Game Pass you should check it out.

I am an absolute sucker for games like this. Has a similar pace but much different aesthetic as Dave the Diver. So I'm all in.

Never heard of that one, but I'm with you. This is a nice change of pace from the way most games typically flow.

Some of the arcade games they have in this game are awesome. My favorite so far is "Blockchain."

I can't even figure out Blockchain yet

It's completely based on how many "blocks" are in a row. So if you have a "1" block with nothing around it, it will disappear, a "7" block on a full row will disappear, etc.
I just discovered today that if you are playing a game at 2am time will stop until you back out of that game. So just wrap up everything and jump on whatever game you want to practice on and play till you're done.

I completed all of the goals on the dartboard. Think that may be the easiest game to do that with so for.
I am awful at Zombat 2. Haven't gotten a single goal on that one yet.
My 4 year old loves Strike Gold, so I ended up getting all the in-game upgrades on that one just by letting her go at it. Good times. :)
In fact, all three of my kids like trying out the different arcade games. My teenager likes the DDR clone, my preteen likes just trying out different things, and my toddler likes Strike Gold. It's rare I'm able to get all of them into the same thing, and I don't mean with just video games.
Arcade Paradise is a hidden gem.

Some of the games are actually a lot of fun. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to beat Stack Overflow.

I REALLY love this game. Took me a while to figure out that you can gain hacks that you use in the game. Keep your eye on the right of the screen and use them with "x."
Best advice I can give is never put a "1" block next to any other blocks if you can help it.

Did you beat it? I get frustrated around day 6 or 7 and just nope out.
ETA: I unlocked a game called "Fruit Crush" today which is a Tetris-type game but with matching 4 in a row, and a game called "Bugai" which is Bubble Bobble. Those are fun.
I've just about shoved the laundromat completely out of the building. Barely enough room for 6 washers and 6 dryers now.

I've gotten really good at it. The strategy is to always start by breaking apart a 2-1-1 and then from there you just stack like colors on top of each other and it'll shake out. This works til about the 14th level.

Nice. I'll have to try that.

I made it to the credits and was immediately mad at myself for taking what I felt was too many days. I just wasted way too much time doing laundry rather than completing game goals and disregarded the to-do's early. So wiped my save data to do it in half the number of days.

Ha wow. Laundry sucked. Stopped doing it and picking up trash after a while.

Just made it to the credits. Kind of sad it's over. Time to work on all the arcade game achievements.
