I haven't played the multplayer very much, but this looks pretty good. I like the Gordy Carbine gameplay from what I've seen.

From Steam.com:

Dear Operators,

The Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign will be available for free starting February 21 at 3AM (UTC+0) on PC. In this intense co-op mode, you'll step into the boots of an elite Delta Force operator, thrown back into a chaotic battlefield filled with grit and courage. What was meant to be a simple capture mission turns into a nearly impossible extraction after the distress call: "Black Hawk 61 hit, going down!" Fight side by side with your comrades, relive the desperate moments of survival under enemy fire, and embrace the unshakable conviction that "No one gets left behind." This isn't just a battle—it's a test of humanity and courage.

- A LEGENDARY BATTLE, REIMAGINED
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Black Hawk Down delivers breathtaking visuals, immersing you in Mogadishu like never before. With an unparalleled level of detail and a diverse range of missions, every corner of the city tells a story, and every encounter feels visceral and real.

- PUSH YOUR LIMITS
It takes grit, determination, and sacrifice to become a legend. Black Hawk Down is the ultimate test of skill, demanding everything you’ve got. This isn’t a shooting gallery—it’s war. Every turn could be your last, and survival is never guaranteed.

- HONOR THE CLASSICS
The Black Hawk Down Co-op Campaign faithfully reboots the iconic 2001 film and pays tribute to the 2003 game Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. It brings back legendary stories forged in the flames of war, giving players a chance to experience those unforgettable moments from the silver screen. From the streets of Mogadishu to the wreckage of the Black Hawk, every detail is meticulously recreated, transporting players to a battlefield where courage and sacrifice reign supreme.

- PLAY AS A TEAM
Only the best squads survive. Choose your class, customize your loadout, and—most importantly—move as a unit to overcome the unprecedented challenges ahead.

Black Hawk Down unfolds across seven challenging chapters, each unlocking as you complete the previous mission. Warning: The following may contain spoilers. Proceed with caution or skip to the next section.

- Chapter 1 - Irene: Push into the city, eliminate hostile forces at the landing point, then breach the meeting site and detain all of Aidid's advisors. Once it's done, signal friendly rangers to join you, and hold off the militia until the extraction convoy arrives.

- Chapter 2 - The Fuse: In the chaos of the urban environment, your priority is to evacuate the wounded. As the squad's point man, eliminate any threats that impede the convoy's progress and ensure their safe passage to the main road.

- Chapter 3 - Black Hawk Down: Disaster strikes as a friendly helicopter crashes. Your mission: race to the crash site, search for survivors, and provide emergency assistance.

- Chapter 4 - Lost Convoy: The capture mission is on hold. Your new objective: escort a critical convoy through a hostile controlled area. Expect intense firefights at every turn.

- Chapter 5 - Valor: Intel confirms another helicopter has been shot down. Two brave snipers are making a desperate stand to protect the survivors. Join the fight and provide critical support.

- Chapter 6 - N.S.D.Q.: As darkness falls, rescue convoys are moving in. Your mission: locate scattered soldiers and guide them back to safety.

- Chapter 7 - Mogadishu Mile: This is a silent death run. Follow the extraction convoy on foot through enemy-infested streets, fighting your way through blockades to reach the stadium.

PC game that came out around the same time as the movie. Novalogic used to make various war sims.

Google gives a credit to Novalogic if you google "Delta Force", but I think it's a credit for the original DF games like the one you asked about.

This new Delta Force was developed by Team Jade.

On 31 October 2016, the company name and its IPs were acquired by THQ Nordic GmbH, with NovaLogic's presence diminishing since. By August 2023, the Delta Force IP was sold to TiMi Studio Group.

i don't think this is a remake of the original. i think it's a brand-new take on those events.

so, yeah... this campaign is fricking hard.

- you're stuck with your loadout and that's it.
- no additional ammo. if you're out of it, you're out for good. you can ask for some from a squad mate though.
- can't pick up enemy weapons.
- health levels are very low.
- enemy AI have aimbot.
- sprinting is non-existent. it's there, it's just not efficient enough.
- Mogadishu Mile is fricking hard.
- everything above is all by design. i'm surprised this game is free.

it's also very short. each level is maybe 20 minutes long. you can beat it in 2 hours if you're good enough. pretty cool stuff.
