Can we talk about this Karl Jobst lawsuit, he lost against Billy Mitchell

I used to like Karl's videos, I stopped watching when his entire content started to focus on his lawsuit against Billy. He seemed to be going on some sort of insane crusade against him, I guess for clicks. He started a go fund me to ask his followers to support him and raised over $126K USD for his defense with the assumption the lawsuit was centered around Billy's gaming accomplishments and whether or not he was a cheater.
It looks like he duped his subscribers into donations on false premises all the while coming hard down on people like the completionist for raising money for charity and stealing from it.
Not a good look at all, I would not be surprised to see a lawsuit against him for that go fund me.

I always liked Karl's videos. Even the ones about the lawsuit because Billy is an insufferable douche. It is pretty funny that a large part of Karl's YouTube channel is about cheaters and frauds and it seems like now people will be making the same video about him and this lawsuit.

these judges/juries are stupid, and ive been on jury duty for 2 cases, and the defense attorney gets to pick jack asses and prosecutor, etc gets to pick theirs,
its so stupid, and dont ever get yourself in front of a jury, they have proven they will believe anything the prosecution says.

It really wasn't, Jobst screwed up with the Apollo Legend stuff. Instead of making a good apology with a strong retraction of what he did in a separate video, he shoehorned it into a video most people don't stay long enough to see according to standard Youtube metrics.
He had chances to correct the screw up and chose to go the wrong route the whole time. The only good thing is this trial did get it out there how much a PoS Billy Mitchell is to everyone. So that is worth the 350k

Agreed. Mitchell is an obvious liar and scumbag.
Jobst letting his entire channel get sidetracked going after him probably wasn't s good idea, his regular content was much better.
Some people are grudge holders and he probably just couldn't let Mitchells bullshite go, even though it was bad for him.

Didn’t they reinstate all his records…despite seemingly having him dead to rights on the hardware he used?
I don’t care what explanation was provided to justify the defamation judgment. Those records keepers pretty much signed Jobst’s execution papers as soon as they walked back their decision.
