Steam page

Everything from Crysis 3 to Dragon Age Inquisition to Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Missing are DICE games such as Battlefield 3-5 however.

They will also have EA Access on Steam too. Yes, you will need to also run Origin through Steam such as you did with Ubisoft games requiring Uplay. But this is definitely providing Steam enthusiasts the ability to have more games all in one library complete with features that Steam provides such as the community hub with discussion boards.

Still requires Origin launcher through Steam (like having to go through Rockstar or UPlay) and none of them have Steam achievements from what I've seen. And all the games' release dates say June 4. They should really be using the original release dates. Won't be buying any of them. They're also selling Crysis 3 MP DLC and I'm pretty sure that game is dead on MP. I even heard that DLC isn't even sold on Origin. Just another EA money grab.

Not too bad, but yeah, would be nice to eliminate that launcher.

Beware if you’re buying a game on steam you already owned on origin as presently the steam copy overwrites the ea copy; look at this guy’s issue:

So I can’t just play it through steam? I have to set up an origins account too?

Yes you will definitely have to have an Origin account. Not sure you'll need to actually install their launcher since the Steam version should launch through a 'lighter' version of it.

I used this as my opportunity to finally get the Crysis series. Amazingly Crysis works on my rig (i5-9600K, RTX 2070, 16GB DDR4). All I had to do was edit the game.cfg file to support my 1440p resolution and press ALT+ENTER every time I start the game so I don't get the 24 FPS lock.

Got the whole series now that 3 is available on Steam. Probably won't be getting anything else though. I'm 3 hours into the first game and damn it's fun, and looks pretty good for such an old game. I HATE that the game doesn't have hold to ADS though... the fix for that seems more involved that just getting my modern resolution to work. I could do it but I've already played 3 hours toggling to ADS I don't see the point.
