How do I get my Xbox to download at speeds that my computer does?

When I do a speed test on my laptop I get 3 ping, 83.5 mbps download and 48.5 upload. But as I'm downloading a file on Xbox right now the speed is only 10 mbps. How do I fix this?

I assume you're downloading a game through Xbox's network?
It's probably the Xbox network's problem, not yours, thus you can't fix it.
Downloading patches for PS4 games is painfully slow for me too, and it's not my internet, it's just their system.

Microsoft's servers suck balls. I don't know why they can't up it some. My computer will download at 900, yet my hard wired xbox struggles to get above 50. It's always been that way and it's a pain in the arse.

Definitely a MS issue. I have my Xbox One in the same room as my laptop and the Xbox will take 4 hours what the laptop can do in 1.5

I get 50meg+ dloading games or updating stuff. And that was on my old network.

I regularly see 100-200mb downloads on XBox live
You definitely can't have a game running. That will throttle your speed big time.

I have 50mbps hardwired to my Xbox and can only download at an average of about 10-12mbps

I usually get 1mb to 5mb while I download a patch or game. You can do the math on that bad boy.
