Options for PS5 Pro co-op games?

I've been out of the gaming world for awhile now but my son is getting a PS5 and a new tv for Christmas. What are some good co-op games we can play together locally. I was always an Xbox person so I don't know anything about a PS5. Are there any shooters like Gears of War available for the PS5 that we can play together locally?

A quick Google search tells me that Zombies still has split screen supports in Black Ops 6 on current gen (ps5/series x/s)
If yall are football fans, you can always pick up CFB25 or Madden 25. You can actually play on the same side of the ball instead of against each other.

It takes two was a great game that required two people. The whole story is about a married couple headed towards divorce tho so it might not be appropriate. The game play was fun tho, the studio that released it has another game coming out in March that looks like a similar co-op game.
