Out now on Steam.

It seems like just yesterday when we saw the initial teaser trailer for Runescape: Dragonwilds. Bringing the long-running RPG to a new genre must not have been the easiest process. But it appears the madlads at Jagex have made it happen. And they’re so confident in their ability to do so, apparently, that they shadowdropped Dragonwilds out of nowhere on a Tuesday afternoon.

What a blast from the past. Haven’t thought about RuneScape in years. 12 year old me and friends used to stay up all night playing this.
Think I was around 75 level with the full rune. My rich friends parents paid for their premium membership so they got the cool dragon armor shite. Hell, I might start playing again

Yeah this is it's own thing more akin to Valheim and Zelda mashed together. It's on unreal engine 5 and is a crafting survival open world game with rpg elements.

I’m on Old School Runescape right now, blast from the past and still popular

Old school ruenscape is the shite. Jagex is a great example of a gaming company that actually seeks and addresses the feedback of its players.
If you loved OG runescape, and haven't played OSRS yet, you need to. It's an excellent recreation of the game's pre-2007 state (the GOAT period)

Glad to see this game is being so well received. 84% positive on Steam and streamers loving it.
It is very well done. Modern but still has that Runescape feel. Jagex nailed this one.

looks like a cleaner(graphically) valheim
basically it should be called vlaheim 2.0, but not in Scandanavia

They did a good job keeping a Runescape feel to the world.
I was never a big or even small Runescape player but this game is fun.

It actually looks like a great base for an early access game. I'll pick it up soon when I have my annual OSRS burnout
