Should I buy a PS5 or wait for the Pro?

I have a Series X and have been wanting a PS5. Should I wait for the potential Holiday 2024 release or just get a PS5 now?

Depends if there are games you want to play before then. I just bought a PS5 a couple weeks ago just for CFB25.

Do you have a 4k 120hz TV to take advantage of the Ps5 pro?
If not PS5 slim. PS5 Pro doesn't have the same draw as the PS4 Pro. It is just a slightly higher spec ps5. Most won't be able to see the benefits.

as other said this pro will likely be a minor step up. a slim would be a fine choice now.
if you really arent in a rush and willing to pay more then the pro is rumored for holiday release (or is that official now?). You and i both know scalpers and resellers will likely make that hard to get right away though.

If you have an Xbox Series X, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Even if you like Sony 1st party games, I'd wait.

I do have an LG TV that runs 4K and 120HZ so that’s why I was thinking about the Pro.
I think my biggest thing is just wanting to play those PS5 only games such as Spiderman, Hell Divers, Demon Souls, God of war, etc…
