So, I just played the Modern Warfare 2 Remaster Multiplayer (H2M is now HMW)

H2M is now HMW, i.e. Horizon Modern Warfare

I played a few rounds and really enjoyed it. Plays really well for what it is. You're still going to need a copy of the Modern Warfare Remastered in order for it to work.

Purchase it from Steam or use your own personal methods :winkwink:.

Just know pirated copies of the game "are NOT supported".

Go to the #-downloads channel and download the "HWM Launcher.zip". Do NOT use the Github link. That's the source code for those that want to contribute to the mod.

Once the launcher is downloaded, extract it and copy all of the contents to the MWR installation folder from Steam or wherever it's store on your PC.

Run the HMW Launcher.exe from the installation folder and you'll either need to install a some kind of Windows C++ update, or it will open this program:




Verify the files. You'll probably get a message about missing files. Download them and wait. It took me about 3 hours. It was started before the UT/OU game and it was still running at halftime. It was complete by the time the game was over.

Once it's done, click the "Play" button at the top and enjoy!!!
