I prefer to parry. Much more rewarding. Maybe its because I just played Wukong recently. This game makes me want to try to get into Sekiro again after I am done.

Oh, I do too. But some of these bosses are a chore to parry and dodging is quite effective.

Which weapon types are you guys using now that you're further into the game?
I haven't used any of my skill points or Khazan memory points because I have no idea what to upgrade

i am using the wolf set. to complete it, it requires a great sword. So i am using the greatsword. I am at Viper right now and I am doing well with timing potent blows. do massive damage close to 2200 front facing hits.
you can reset your skill points at any time. I originally was setting up spear points but since this i started using the set i switched it all to benefit the great sword. they are pretty useful. I would assign points.
I learned this with Wukong mid play through when I was stuck. You can create builds for each boss as needed.

Looks like there won't be any additional boss nerfs, they're increasing material drop rates from bosses, and they're removing the build # from the bottom left of the screen!

Right now I'm using the fallen lords spear and using bards set I believe it's called, while I farm for the materials for the rest of the fallen lords set. Gotta say it's fun wrecking viper over and over, as he destroyed me for days. Now I can beat both phases in a little over a minute.

Got stuck again on the big boss with the metal cage on his neck that does plague damage. Was about to give up when I figured out that flame does a ton of damage on him. Finally beat him.

Getting 32 jars for the first jar head piece that takes -1 off the set bonus requirement is a game changer.
I’m running mainly the golden set with the trance skill and it absolutely wrecks. Just made it to the last area of the game.

I'm at the area where you have to drain the water and gotta say that's one of the cooler souls level designs I've played in quite a while.

I swear each boss just gets more ridiculous than the last. Nothing pisses me off more than a boss fight where you constantly chasing the boss around a huge arena. Finally catch up to her and have no stamina to do anything .

Yeah she took me several tries. Stay aggressive and you can knock her out of some of her magic.

Final boss is finally dead. Platinum achieved. Now to start a NG+ run with a different weapon. Probably dw.
