Which do you prefer? Does anyone carry both? I know they're similar in loft but the 7 Wood has a slightly longer shaft. After watching videos it seems the 7 Wood has more carry and lands softer.

I carry a 7 wood, it’s my favorite club In my bag. Any time I need to be bailed out, it comes out.

I carry a 7w and a Ping 4 Icrossover. Similar distances but I use them for different shots..

7w is higher softer landing and I can hit a really nice cut with it..

4xover.. normally just narrow tee shots and shots I need to keep low and out of a head on wind

7 wood all day, I prefer the look of a fairway wood over a hybrid.

I have all G425s and the 7 Wood is the one club that's no longer available. I may have to wait for a G430.

7 wood is by far the best club in my bag

Can carry it 240 or 210 with ball placement and gripping down.

7 wood is my favorite club in the bag. Fairway, rough, fairway bunkers, tee shots. It can really do it all. I’m also less likely to hook it off the planet, something I’ve always struggled with when playing hybrids.

I haven’t used my 4-hybrid since I got a 7-wood. No need.

Please change to 193 before someone forwards to USGA to get the ball dialed back.

I carry a 5 wood. Never hit a hybrid very good.

What iron does your 7 wood replace. I still carry a 4 iron but rarely use it. Tried a few hybrids but think another wood would be better for me.

Typically a 7w is around 21° of loft so depending on what kinda irons you're working with it's a traditionally lofted 3i or a modern 4i

My 4H is currently at 22° but adjustable. The 7 Wood I'm looking at is 20.5° and adjustable. The 7 Wood also has a longer shaft. I no longer carry a 3 or 4 iron.

No. I hit woods and drivers far. Suck with irons.

7 wood number example, that’s with it in a neutral position. Playing it slightly back in stance I get about another 5-10 yards

It’s a game changing club for me because I can use it instead of my 4 or 5 iron by gripping down and playing it more up in my stance, or use it all out approaching par 5s instead of trying to control my 3 wood

I find your lack of spin disturbing...... (must be read in a Darth Vader voice)

Seriously though you hitting that thing slightly high on the face huh?? Not bad numbers though considering.

No idea where I hit it I have a hard upward swing which produces distance with woods and drivers (driver carry average js 285), but it produces high cut lower distance irons (average 7 iron carry around 160)

When I found 7 woods existed it was a game changer. Hybrids are shite for me like irons

I'm at 235 carry, ~4000 spin with the 7-wood. Damn thing lands like an 8 iron. Definitely a game changer.

So you’re launching your 7 wood higher and carrying it farther with half as much spin and same clubhead speed as a Tour average 5 wood ?
