3 rounds total, or 3 at each course?
Waverly is classic & always great.
Mossy Oak is sooo much better each time you play it, but that first round can be chaotic. It takes a few rounds to find your lines from the tee.
We go every year (group of 20 went in June) & MO has become one of my favorite courses.
Y’all are gonna have a great time

Also, the cottages at MO are nice & really convenient. But Waverly cottages are the way to go, imho. 4 bedrooms with baths. Great room with a kitchen , fireplace & deck. Perfect for a little bourbon & a card game

I keep remembering things.
Ask about getting the shuttle to Anthony’s at least one night. They’ll take care of you in case some aren’t ready to navigate the road into West Point after a day on the course

As of right now we have 2 rounds scheduled at Old Waverly, One at Mossy Oak, one at Dancing Rabbit on the way up.
Should we play Mossy Oak twice instead of Old Waverly?

We got an Old Waverly cottage that is currently under renovation, so it’ll be brand new when we get there.

You should play Waverly as much as possible.
Mossy Oak will just be a challenge, seeing it for the first time

Does the Lodge at Old Waverly have grills?
Staying there in a few months. Have 72 holes booked over 3 days.
Any tips or tricks for the trip outside of golf?
It is expensive but I’m pumped!

What’s the ballpark on that weekend? Looking to book a weekend in the fall.

I have it priced around $1300 (excluding tax) for a Thursday through Saturday. 2 nights stay, 4 rounds. Everyone gets their own room.

Thanks, was thinking it was somewhere around there just looking at the website.
For roughly a five hour trip from Baton Rouge it’s hard to beat OW/MO from what I’ve been told.

We have 8 people going and with the weekend we picked they are still charging winter golf rates.
We have 4 rounds booked and 2 people to a room in a 4-bedroom cottage for 3 nights, and our cost is around $650 per person before tax and not including food and drink.
To me that’s super affordable and even the RTJ stay and plays couldn’t get close to that.
