Heard they are doing some good things for their membership. Looking for a new home for my golf game.

Played 36 there a few Sunday's ago. I shot 71,75. I know it wasn't the question, I just wanted to post my score.

Can I get an autograph?

Been a whole new experience with Daniel and Chris in charge now. In a good way. New chef who cooks some great food, too. Member tournaments fill up quick. I'm talking 70+ guys with alternates. All because these guys run them so well.
Course is in great shape right now. Waited to punch and it was the right call. They've held together well other than a spot or two on 13 and 18 where the trees shade too much. But that was always the case. Changes coming there.
Lots of variety in groups too. Big money games, small money team games, young guys, older guys. Really good mix. Tons of new members since the new management arrived.

I think it was $35 but as far as I know, that's a year round thing.

Hell yes. I thought that was just summer or maybe that’s the only time in can get over there during the week. I’ll be there

I've played there a few times and I don't like it. It's usually in good condition, but the layout is funky.
They tried to jam 18 holes into too little space. Plus many holes are tight.

Different strokes for different folks, I know the guys who are now in charge and they always do great things and put on top of the line tournaments and take care of their members. I am not the biggest fan of the layout but I’ve never played it in conditions that was not good to great, I agree with some of the gimmicky holes but what course doesn’t have them? Is it my favorite BR area layout? No but it has plenty of holes to take advantage of scoring as it does gimmicky holes to work your way around, the new clubhouse is legit and the food in the restaurant is good. IF you live in that part of town and are looking for a club to join it is worth a look for the value no doubt compared to other membership pricing in the area.

I do live in Denham and I'm not tying to bad mouth the course. Like I said before, the course has always been in good shape when I've played it. It's more of a personal preference I guess.

I'm not a fan of the layout either

4 and 18 are frustrating because longer hitters can’t hit driver from the one ups so no chance for getting on in 2. 13’s green that slopes away and is tiered sucks but it’s actually not a hard hole to par.
But I’ve come to appreciate these things. You can’t let up from 1 to 18 and you have to play smart. Right now when it’s warm and the fairways are firm, I’m hitting more 5 irons than driver on par 4s. It’s very tight in some places like 10 and 12 no matter what tees you play from. However, the course really opens up from the tips. But at 7100 yds, that scares some people away.
