The Sycamore 008 centershafted model really looks good to me.

Very tempted to try, really curious about the feel.

Thoughts ?

I’ve looked, but have not pulled the trigger.

Call the number on the site, I think they’ll send you one to try with like a $20 fee IF you don’t like it.

Jason, the owner called me about a loose ferule so he’s very involved.

The pricing is really good for a well made putter.

I have the TA3 putter. It’s going to take something really special to take it out of my bag.

I know I’m a Sub70 homer, but I don’t mess around with putters. I highly recommend the Sub70 putters.

I have the Sycamore 007 blade putter, similar to the classic Wilson 8802. It’s a secondary putter that’s more for fun than anything as I game an Odyssey Mallet putter for my primary.

While I’m guessing you aren’t looking for that particular type of putter, I have to say I’m super impressed by it. The build quality is exceptional and the feel is shockingly very good. I’d imagine their putters wouldn’t disappoint based on my experience.

Does anyone place in the greater Houston area have demos on hand? I'm guessing not, but thought I'd ask.

Chappy, I will probably try the V2 4 Wood when it becomes available.

Not that I know of.

It's sad that the big box stores have run the independent clubbuilders out of business.

When Mike at Impact Golf passed away last year. We don't have any clubbuilders in southwest Houston area now.

The guy at PGA Superstore in Katy has done good repair work for me.

I was in there last week and he put together a Takomo 3 wood head with a T1100 Green Smoke Hzdrus shaft for Hines Ward (Steelers). Very nice looking club.

I gamed one for a few years with zero complaints. Loved the feel. Still use their wedges

Ive heard good things. Do they not have a 4w already out?

As far as demos, body will have one, but you can score one online pretty cheap. There’s a Sub70 group on FB where guys are buying and selling all the time.

I used to be a putter whore, went through 2-3 per year and even did the custom order twice with Nead putters and Lajosi putters.

I picked up the Sub 70 TAIII 254 Wide Blade putter about three years ago and have not considered anything else since. Just ordered a new grip for it from Sub 70 as I wanted to make sure it was exactly the same as the original grip that had worn down some.

Everyone has their own preference for feel, but this putter feels better to me than any of the 7 Scotty Cameron putters I have owned in the past. The TAIII is the only Sub 70 putter I have tried, so I guess my review is limited to that model only.

My tournament partner has prohibited me from ever changing putters again

Dang man. Hope you are good! I saw the Houston area got rocked, especially with power outages. All the best.

Bought a 5w. Wanted to add one to the bag and price was too good to pass up.

Not sure I picked the right shaft exactly, but even so I like it. All the weight options are really cool to get feel/ flight you want. It has front and rear weight ports and comes with multiple different gram weights you can place.

What kind of grip comes with the putter ?

Is there a uncharge for a SuperStroke ?

They have several grips that are standard, but there’s plenty of upgrades.

I put a Pistol 2.0 on my TA3

I have been eyeing them for a little while but haven't pulled the trigger. Whether I'd like the heavier weight on them is the only thing I'm hesitant of.
