Miura is the answer

Miura & Artisan are easily 1a and b. Mizuno would follow suit and then the rest of the irons.

Funny thing about the "best forged club" debate that always makes me laugh is that a majority of forged heads are all manufactured in the same factories in Japan.
Cant go wrong with Miura, Srixon, Mizuno.
I've found that the more recent Mizuno's do not feel as good as they once were, but that is no means a negative.
I play Srixons and think that they are the best feeling for the price point.
Miura's are the best if you have the cash.

Srixon, Mizuno, Miura.(no particular otder)
Best is whichever one you hit most consistently. If you’re a club-ho, Mizuno has the best and easiest resale value. If you catch the occasional fat shot, Srixon has one of the best soles in the industry. If you want to impress the clubhouse, Miuras offer that.
I play Srixon and won’t be going away from em and I use to ho bigly.

Are the Srixon soles that helpful for fat shots? Fat shots are my Miss-hits. I rarely top the ball.

Helpful for “fat shots”? Lol. I mean technically the V sole is better for the steep player and helps get through the turf easier but no sole is gonna help a good chunk.

That’s what I meant, lol. I rarely hit it very fat. I have a tad bit steeper swing than a neutral swing.
