Paxton Clabaugh at Pelican Point. If he wants to improve to win tournaments. This is your guy. Very responsive and you can actually schedule with him. He has tons of technology in his studio and can also work with you via videos when needed too.

I suggested Chris Burkstaller at Island. Why? In working with him I’ve gone from a 21 down to 12. Broke 80 for the first time… and am close to dropping and staying under 10.

Burkey won’t try to rebuild your swing. He’ll take what you’ve got and optimize it.
That’s the way to go IMO, because your body is one giant muscle and will take thousands of reps and some shite golf to groove a new swing that may or may not be any better.

Curious to know why he's gotten a lot of downvotes.. I'm a member at Pelican and have been kicking around going to get a few lessons from him..
Also, my daughter who's 15 has been to both Parker and Burky and both would be excellent choices..

My personal experience with Paxton has been great. He’s not afraid to change things mechanically to clean up your swing. But again, not all instructors wanna do that. It takes time. He’s super smart and I’ve really enjoyed the work we’ve done. I started seeing him in December and my swing is now in a totally different place for the better. I needed some changes mechanically and believe in his work.
I’ve also seen Burky and we never touched any of this. I don’t think Burky wanted to go there. Also I struggled to schedule with him which I never have issues with Paxton on.

Me too. Everyone I know that has seen him has seen immediate results but not much since.
