Best Irons For Mid-Handicapper

I’m looking to buy some new irons. I still play with callaway big berthas I bought in 2006. I’ve seen a lot of folks talk about the hot metals and liking them but unsure whether to pull the trigger on buying them.

I’m a 18 handicap and I love my Mizuno MP-20 HMB irons

Those new Ping G425s are on the top of my list.

There’s a reason people buy Pings and keep them a long time.

I'm a 15HC and play a set of JPX 919 Tours. It's more dependent on your ball striking versus your handicap.

I've got some Titleist 718 AP2s for sale if you want something that's not clunky like a game improvement iron, but still a bit forgiving
