Played this course for the first time last week and have to say I was impressed.

Notes:

The greens are NEW. They roll great but they bounce hard since they are new.

The course as a whole was in pretty good shape. I enjoyed the back 9 more than the front.

GPS in the carts. Big plus for me

Drink cart girl.

Unlimited range balls.

75 bucks is a little high. IMO 50 would be about right.

They’re selling public tee times now? Or was that a guest fee.

I knew they were trying to get members but still thought it was private.

Doesn’t look like it on their site. Looks like they need members and will let prospective members play a round.

Yeah are you saying the public can play with a member or the public can play on their own? I was under the impression it was still private.

Never played here but it's close to work, can you compare it to any other courses in BR/Nola in terms of layout, then in terms of condition/quality?

Public can play on their own. They are very lenient if you call for a tee time. They are hurting for members after going way over budget on course

This seems to be the case I keep getting ads for them trying to get members despite already being a member at another private country club. Their former pro is now the assistant pro at another club. Seems strange

To be fair, they lost their greens this past spring And just reopened in like November I want to say. I think a lot of people left when they went temporary greens on every hole. I only play it occasionally but I do enjoy it and the greens are very nice since being redone.

It’s a very narrow house lined course.

Fair enough, with the amount of rain we received last year I can see how that would happen. Looks like a fun course.
