Cold weather golf attire

Have a tee time at 8:45 and it’s supposed to “feel like” 39 with an actual temp of 41. I’m not very cold tolerant. Wondering what y’all sport in weather like this. I’ll just wear my regular golf pants with some long under armour coldgear underwear. Those things are legit so not really worried about my lower body. I’m trying to find the balance between staying warm and not hindering my swing with my upper body though. Feel like a pullover won’t be enough and a puffy jacket might be too much. Anyone ever played in nanopuff style jacket? Did you feel constricted?

I hate the cold with a passion, but I am usually OK with just a couple layers. I also walk almost exclusively, which certainly helps warm you up this time of year. I'd rather be a little cold and not have a restricted swing than to have a bunch of layers on and not feel like I can swing the club like I want to. I'll usually go polo, quarter zip and maybe a vest, so I can shed layers as needed.
Keeping my hands/fingers warm is the most important thing, so go get some Hot Hands.
And a knit/fleece beanie will keep you warmer than a regular cap.

Walk instead of riding if at all possible. You won’t notice the cold nearly as much, in fact you will feel warm in no time.

I have a cold weather underarmor turtleneck that I wear under my polo and normally have a loose fitting lined windbreaker over the top. I have played in 35* weather with no problem and started sweating around the 3rd hole.
I wear normal khakis or heavy weight slacks for my lower half to keep me a little warmer...or wear my rain pants which are lined with shorts underneath.

Long John's and pants with thicker socks on bottom.
UA cold gear, golf shirt, then a warmer golf jacket typically will get the job done. If I need a other layer, I add a vest, either on top or underneath.

The only problem I have with wearing long Johns is that I usually get to hot as the day goes on, then I’ve got to strip to take it off.
Get some thermal compression sleeves and wear a vest under a wind resistant quarter zip. Then you can shed the zip, then the sleeves and then the vest as it warms up .

If you're really worried about the balance of cold and a restriction, you could always do something like NFL players do. You can have a big jacket that you wear when you aren't swinging and take it off for shots.
Also, my dad plays weekly no matter the temperature. A few years ago he bought one of those hand warmers that you strap around your waste like in football. He said it helps a lot with his hands.

Still need to drop pants but shoes can stay on.
First light zip off long johns

Get a base layer from Academy Sports. They help a lot

Also, for people that don’t want long johns since it will get warmer. You can wear long basketball socks. Those act like a warm layer that you can just roll down later on.

Wife beater tee shirt (to free up arms), long sleeve golf shirt or turtle neck, then golf sweater. Maybe a wind breaker pullover. Cart mittens and a skull cap/toboggan

My cold golf uniform: under armor thermals under normal golf pants. A Nike 3/4 zip stretchy running shirt over polo and a vest. If that isn’t warm enough, I will bring a Patagonia nano puff jacket to throw on between shots. But to answer your question it’s too constricting to swing in. A beanie is usually helpful too, if your head and ears are warm you are more comfortable.

for sure
Under armor half zip pullover with cold gear long sleeve underneath. Always bring more than you need

I'm done with dealing with the cold starts in the morning because of frost delays. Had to wait over an hour for two different tee times because of frost delays backing everything up. Not doing that again.

Winter sucks. Christmas is over. Bring back my warm weather.

I don't mind the cold weather. Here in Houston, at least so far, it isn't in the 30s that often. What I do mind is the lack of sun. There are about 2 hours of tee times that aren't available in the winter that are in the summer. I have also found that the demand seems high just because the weather is typically nice in the middle of the day. So, there is less supply, more demand, and it gets a bit frustrating trying to get on the course.

My Footjoy toboggan keeps me very warm.
I usually wear 3 layers on top and I have wind pants if it’s brutally cold.

I hate layering sleeves so I usually wear a single long sleeve under a short sleeve polo and vest. I find keeping my head warm with a toboggan helps a ton. Also keep a couple hand warmers in my pocket
