Games/Contest for Golf Tournament

Anyone play in any golf tournaments (mainly scramble or charity) where the company sponsoring the hole had a cool competition/game? Trying to figure out something to do where winner gets a legit prize. I’ve played in one with longest drive teeing off from your opposite side. Another where they had an air gun on a par 3 to get closest to hole. Anyway, thought maybe people here had some ideas.

I know a game that’s proven to be entertaining over centuries.
See who can get it in the hole using the fewest shots possible.

If you can get on a Par3 and you have a decent golfer in your company you can do a "Beat Me" contest.
You (or your coworker) hit a ball with every group.
Anyone in that group that gets closer than you, give them a sleeve of your company logo balls.
They can also choose to play from your spot in the scramble if they are not closer than you.
WIN-WIN

My company does this in our annual charity scramble. The executives are all good golfers and sit on the par 3's drinking beer all day trying to get closer to the pin than every group.
They hit the same shot all day so they're really good at it. But towards the end of the round, they're drunk. So its a curve. You want to get them either really early or really late

I played in one tournament where they had a set of clubs that were cut down to about 2 ft. long shafts and you could wager $5 at 10 to 1 (win $50) if you get within a certain radius of the pin that was painted off in a circle.
It was IMPOSSIBLE

ETA:
And they'd let each person try twice, but the second try was $10 (still 10 to 1)

Please explain.
The best fund-raiser I've seen is where the host/ sponsor sells length of rope prior to the round or the hole in play.
You could buy a foot of rope for $1, and use that length of rope to get your ball closer to the hole. Some teams were buying 50-100 ft for the team to use throughout the round. Every time a length is used it gets cut off

I've seen these. Pneumatic golf ball launcher.

Man, $100 to move your ball 5.5 ft closer each hole would be a huge benefit.
Obviously, you wouldn't need it some holes, so you'd have a lot to work with.
We always do the deal where you can pay $10 per hole to hit off the red tee. Everyone in the group would pony up $20 so we'd get 8 holes of at least 1 person hitting off the red tees. But that is $80 for a lot less benefit than that rope.

I've never seen this on a course. Great idea

They're a ton of fun, but not very easy to aim without some practice. Only time I've seen it, each person got 1 shot without practicing and no one got close

At a charity tourney last year they had one hole where you could pay $5 and hit a marshmallow off the tee, longest for the day won a new bag or something. Another hole you hit the tee shot sitting on a toilet, same thing where longest for day won a prize.
Local HS Baseball team tourney had a hole you hit the tee shot with a bat, that worked out good for us

Yessir.
I've also played where you could pay to use the red tees or where you could putt to the larger (a 12" diameter ) hole on the green.

There is a dude out of South Carolina that travels with a batch of modified AR rifles that shoot golf balls with blanks. He does charity events all over the country. You can actually buy the tube that attaches to an AR online for about $30-$40. Those things shoot the balls about 300-400 yds!! It's awesome!!
They do leave a burn mark on the golf balls so the charity holes that I have done they give each person in the group a ball to use so you don't mess up your ProV1.

Find a spot on a long par 4 or par 5 where you can put a team “in jail” in the trees a good way down the hole and let them pay $20 to bail themselves out by hitting the shot and laying “0” wherever they end up. There will be a lot of balls rattling off trees which makes it funny, but even in the worse case scenario a team will get at least one ball close to the edge of the fairway and a really good shot will be a huge advantage on the hole.

Poker hole on a par 5.
You set out pictures of cards (think small campaign yard sign size) out in the fairway on a par 5. 10, J, Q, K, A.
For $20 the team can pull a card and go hit from that spot. The A is 225 out with cards every 25 yards back. The team can buy as many pulls as they want.
Usually this is on the hardest or longest par 5 in a charity event.

That's pretty damn clever.

Put the hole on an impossible slope on a hole.
Buy a one putt for $10.
Got to do it at the tee.
Chalk circle within 10 feet of hole on par three.
Pay $10 and it counts as a hole in one.

Appreciate all the ideas. These are good. Just have to decide which one now.

NASCAR Hole
Had this for the first time this year. Goal was to see which team could get into the hole the fastest. There was a sponsor at the hole to time and record each teams score. Timer started after the tee shot was taken and stopped once ball went into the hole.
We put someone in the fairway and one guy on the green before we teed off (they said we could). We won 4 tickets to Daytona. Was fun, and different than anything we had seen. Pretty sweet prize too.

I play in a couple different charity tournaments that support diseases that essentially make you blind.
In one of them they blind you on a par3 and closest to the pin wins a prize.
Another they make you wear a goofy helmet on a par4 and you start at 0 strokes wherever you end up driving the ball to.
I have seen the cannon/shooter thing at a number of tournaments.
I’ve seen tee off from the women’s tees.

Blindfolded would be tough ... and off topic, the thought reminded me of an old movie from the early ‘80s called “If You Could See What I Hear” based on the life of a blind musician when he attended college. He played golf blind and I believe the notes at the end of the movie referenced that he continued playing for years and was a pretty decent player. Pretty good movie.
