Best courses, best deals. What you got?

Don't know about deals but we played Payne's Valley last year and it was outstanding.

Buffalo Ridge is less than half the price and was a blast. Can’t go wrong with any of the courses at big cedar lodge. Going play it for a 3rd time later this year

If you're not a big cedar resort guest its like $450.

All of the Bass Pro courses are amazing. Payne's Valley is my favorite, but Buffalo Ridge, Ozarks, and Top of the Rock are all outstanding. If you are trying to play as many rounds as possible while there Branson Hills, the Pointe, Ledgestone, and Holiday Hills are very well maintained courses with really good deals available when booking online. I've booked the four non Big Cedar courses online before for $55-85 per round with cart.
If you want an absolutely immaculate one round or two then I would go with Payne's and/or Buffalo or Ozarks. If you want to spend the same and play all week then those other four courses are all a really good value with how the courses are maintained and how they play. Branson Hills is the best of that bunch, and Holiday Hills is far and away the most forgiving.

best courses there are only 3 to pick from:
Paynes Valley
Ozark National
Buffalo Ridge
Any of the 3 are wonderful courses. Buffalo is the tightest/hardest. Paynes Valley is the Tiger Woods course with massive fairways (and I mean HUUUGE) but very difficult green complexes. Ozark national is just a gorgeous traditional course.

I checked the price on these. $275 a round is a lot to hack up the place.

Payne's Valley
Ozark National
Mountain Top (par 3)
Buffalo Ridge
Top of the Rock (par 3)
I've played Ozark National, Mountain Top and Buffalo Ridge quite a few times over the years. Of those three, Ozark National is my favorite. It offers great views of the Ozarks. Haven't played Payne's Valley but the quality of that course has been well documented. As you know, rounds at any of these courses aren't cheap.
If you end up not playing these courses, I'd recommend going to Mountain Top's clubhouse for lunch and to take in the views. Very beautiful.
Aside from Bass Pro's courses, I like Ledgestone which is over towards Branson West and Silver Dollar City. It's my favorite non-Bass Pro course. Branson Hill's is nice. To me, it seems to be more challenging.
Besides those courses we have Pointe Royale, Thousand Hills, and Holiday Hills. I live at and am a member of Pointe so that's where I play most of my golf.

We are actually staying at Pointe so that will probably be the one.

Well, welcome to the neighborhood! I've never been inside any of the condos there, but I hope it's nice and you enjoy your stay. They stay busy with vacationers.
Course seems to be in good shape right now. Looks like they cut the rough much lower last week trying to make up for what they missed while it was raining. It's cut lower than I cut my yard on Wednesday. I'll play it this Sunday with my son. Our #1 issue is that more people need to fix their divots on the greens. Guess our vacationers leave home and forget their divot tools!
Since you're staying at Pointe, the next closest golf course to you will be Thousand Hills. FYI - neither Pointe nor Thousand Hills have driving ranges. We have a larger cage that'll accommodate multiple golfers. At Thousand Hills, you start cold.
If you're not playing any of the Bass Pro courses and are looking for a nice course under their price tag, then I'd really recommend you check out Ledgestone. I love when we play tournaments out there.
Let me know if you got any other questions about coming up here like restaurant recommendations or other things to see/do. Always like to see LSU fans around here.

We will be there for a baseball tournament at BoA. There are 4 teams from Louisiana in the tournament so there will be plenty of LSU fans around. Thanks for the recs.

Glad teams from Louisiana are coming up for their tournaments. Talked to a guy from Baton Rouge yesterday whose son’s team is playing in this week’s tournament.
My son played there when it first opened up 8 yrs. ago.
