I went this weekend and did their "Swing analysis" 1 hour session. It's basically a precursor to lessons and its 125 bucks but its "free" if you end up buy a lesson package. I'm a 14 handicap and this was my first lesson ever as I just can't get much better without putting in a lot more effort on my part vs. getting a coach.

They start by asking goals, history, etc. Then video your swing back and side and show where you are aligned(draw lines on all the key mechanics and shite) and comp you to a similar pro. I found it really helpful to visualize everything and see what you are doing wrong. My iron accuracy is trash and that was my main goal of lessons. He showed me how I had massive hip swap which caused my head to move and likely lead to my issues. You don't get too much into fixing the swing but we tried a few drills and managed to get it the sway down a bit but it will take a while to feel natural. Then spent 10-15 minutes talking about a possible plan. I did the 10-30 minute lessons for 750 bucks.

The best part is they have an app that shows your videos of your session which you can access at anytime, has notes from your coach and other videos for you to watch. You can also book and change all your lessons through the app. Obviously, a lot will depend on coach, who I enjoyed so far, but I found the system around the process to be very helpful and informative.

Update:

After my analysis and 2 30 minute lessons I shot an 81 and beat my PR by 5 strokes. I feel like an idiot for waiting so long to get lessons.

My iron accuracy was a PROBLEM. I had a pretty good swing but he just made a couple of adjustments that really made my misses way less severe - no chunked shots going half the distance or big slices going 20 yards right of the pin and short.

That was quick. I might do a session during the summer when it's too hot for a round on the weekend. It's probably close to the same price.

Oh damn $750/half hour

Oh man that's not a bad deal at all. Probably a way better outlay than getting new clubs.

I am currently going but am a bit disappointed. Not in the quality of the lessons, but in the lack of the technology they advertise. I originally signed up because I wanted the data overload with the body sensors they have which show hip turn, shoulder turn, sway etc. Unfortunately they say due to covid they are no longer allowed and are supposed to be replaced with some new camera technology coming soon. My lessons are great but for me telling me something sticks so much less than letting me see the data. There are hundreds of studies that show commonalty among positions for good players ie, shoulder tilt 36 degrees at top, hip turn 36 degrees at impact. I was excited to compare and contrast.

best thing you can do for your game.

you have to have someone else seeing what you are doing (another set of eyes)

feel is 100% not real.
