Kinda shocking. Will probably effect their content quite a bit as I can't see myself watching much of their stuff without those 2 in the picture. They discuss it on their podcast.

Who is the fat guy between Bubby and Matt? I unsubscribed from Good Good about 6 months ago. I'm not sure if that is a camera guy or someone new that they brought in.
I was actually thinking I'd check out Good Good again to see if they had any new ideas, but I'm not a fan of more than half of the people they have left.

Losing Micah was definitely bad but losing Grant is a killer. I think he’s the most likable guy in the group.
This is just how it goes tho in the content world. You join a big brand to boost your name and then get big enough and leave.

That leaves you with screaming Matt and steve that doesn’t even wanna be there. I’ll be skipping out on good good. Grant was the best one there.

This is 2/3 of why I stopped watching a few months back. The other third was Bubby deciding he would be the narrator of every video.

Saw that. I got a couple of their Polos. Most comfortable shirts for golf I’ve ever had. They don’t stick to you when you sweat either

I have never followed them, but that Grant dude has a good golf swing.

Yea sucks, I watched them a lot, some of their videos get repetitive, but they’re actually pretty talented golfers.
One question I’ve always wondered, even the not good golfers in the group like Steve claim to hit their irons a mile. I mean these dudes are claiming to hit 8 irons from like 195-200 yards out, that’s like PGA distances.
Bubbie, Micah, and now Luke, are legit long hitters, Garrett can get it out there because he swings so hard at every ball. But Steve drives the ball like 260, no way he hits an 8 iron 200 yards.
The only one that seemed honest about their distances/club selection is Garrett, he was also the best golfer outside of Luke who played professional golf.
Also, Micah says he’s pursuing professional golf? He’s not near good enough (no knock he’s much better than me). He struggles to break par from the 1 up tees they play and he hits it a mile. Maybe he’s trying to make it as a long drive guy? He does a lot of videos with Kyle Berkshire

Idk about that, Micah can take it pretty low. I don’t think he ever enjoyed the good good stuff. He wants to take golf a lot more seriously than the good good guys did and you could tell he was annoyed in lots of content. He was a weird fit.

Yeah, I liked the last Cali trip and the Pinehurst trip with just Grant and Garrett.
Those were entertaining.

Fun fact, I looked at where Berkshire hit his drive on 18. 130 yards roughly past where I hit mine. That’s just silly.

If he had Garrett’s short game he’d be much more consistent. Garrett’s short game is ridiculous.

Steve is sponsored by Takomo golf clubs and their irons are HOT and have to be aggressive with the lofts. Steven and Bubbie picked up a lot of yards when they got those irons and they showed the numbers on their trackman.
Steve's driver is regularly in the 280-310 range.

I do the same thing at Sunflower hills. Where these guys put the balls from the tips is regularly 20-30 yards past where I hit from one tee up and I average around 285 off the tee.

Micah leaving was a hit but losing Grant may end up being a killer for them. He was definitely the most down-to-earth and relatable of the bunch, and obviously a beautiful swing.
Garrett will probably never get rid of Matt but my God it's tough to watch GG videos with him in them. The constant screaming is too much. Bubbie is fine, he's like the lovable guy who isn't great but doesn't suck either. Not sure why Stephen even joined the group, it seems like he hates golf.
GM golf with Garrett and Grant was honestly must-watch. The California and Pinehurst trips and the 2v2 series they did was top-notch content. Not sure where Garrett goes from here, they honestly seemed like brothers when they did the GM stuff.

Steve does not average 280-310 off the tee on the course, he may on the trackman. He carry’s the ball 250-260ish and may get rollout to 280-310 on occasion. I’m not blasting him I hit the ball a similar distance and my 8 iron is my 170 club (my clubs are also delofted).
Makes sense that he has Takomo clubs which are designed for length, he mentions how hot his irons are regularly.

I didn't say he averaged between 280-310. I said he can regularly hit to lengths as long as 280-310. As I mentioned, I have verified this myself at sunflower hills.
Steve has the greatest variation in distances of anyone in the group with the driver because his mishits can be really bad. When he hits the drivers with the stiffer shafts, he really can hit some bombs (300+). He needs to get properly fitted for a driver instead of taking hand-me-downs all the time.

Micah was not a huge loss imo, but losing Grant is a big one. I don't watch all of the Good Good videos that they release as some are cheesy/gimmicky to appeal to a wider range a viewers. But I pretty much watch everything that comes out on GM Golf that features Garret and Grant. It's really going to suck without him on that channel. Grant has one of the best amateur golf swings I've honestly ever seen.
Seems like both of these guys are sacrificing a piece of a big pie to have a whole smaller pie to themselves. I don't think it's going to work out well for them but we shall see. Good Good is a massive brand on youtube; it's annoying when people leave a sure profitable thing because they want to "explore other opportunities" or stay away from being pigeon-holed to one lane. Like come on man, don't be an idiot and mess up a good thing. You've got it made, ride that train all the way

That's unfortunate. I'm not an avid watcher but I've seen some of their videos and have enjoyed. Seem like some great kids having fun. I figured they are making some good money off of the video's as well judging by what I've heard other youtubers earning (granted I'm going off of random crap I've read on the internet). Wonder what other opportunities they might be going for if they are leaving something that seems to be quite a success.
