Has anyone played in good courses in the Hot Springs, Arkansas area recently? Trip in labor day and looking for some course recommendations for the area.

Hot Springs Country Club has 2 good courses. I prefer the Arlington; it’s more than 100 years old, was redesigned by Coore/Crenshaw. It’s right in town.

Hot springs CC Arlington is the best course(available for public pay) in the area.
Hot springs village has some good options as well. Granada is my favorite. Ponce and Isabella are next in line, but neck and neck. Isabella has 3 nines. Apparently, Ponce drains the poorest.
If you are a member of a club at home, I would think reciprocity could get you on Diamanté (the only private club in the village)

I played one of the courses at HSV (funny story - we were there when Alton Stirling met the BRPD at Triple S, and I had a drawstring bag from BRPD recruiting with balls and tees in it). I think any course in that complex will probably be a good choice.
However, there is a state park a little south of Hot Springs with a golf course.. DeGray Lake resort golf course; that's one of the nicest I've ever played and I would highly recommend it
